Crave for a Cause Returns with ‘Palette of Possibilities,’ an Immersive Culinary Experience Benefiting STARability Foundation

Sept. 19 pop-up at Artis—Naples pairs Chef Brian Roland’s boundary-pushing four-course dining experience with live music and an evening of impact benefiting STARability Foundation

NAPLES, Fla. — Sept. 2, 2026 — Just as Southwest Florida begins welcoming seasonal residents back to the area, one of Naples’ most memorable philanthropic dining series is returning to the table.

Chef Brian RolandCrave Culinaire and STARability Foundation will present “Palette of Possibilities” on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Artis—Naples, marking the next installment of Crave for a Cause, the popular series of pop-up dinners created by Chef Brian Roland and the Crave Culinaire team to pair extraordinary culinary experiences with support for Southwest Florida nonprofit organizations.

Proceeds from the event will support STARability’s $60 million Opening Doors Capital Campaign, which is creating a transformational new campus in Naples designed to expand opportunities for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities for generations to come.

Far from a traditional charity dinner, Crave for a Cause is designed to make the meal itself part of the entertainment.

Throughout the evening, Chef Brian Roland and his culinary team will prepare and present an imaginative four-course dining experience in front of guests, transforming ingredients into unexpected, visually striking dishes and giving diners a front-row seat to the creativity, technique and showmanship behind each course. The experience will be further elevated by a curated selection of boutique wines, with each pour carefully chosen to complement the flavors and creativity of its accompanying course.

Guests won’t simply sit down for dinner. They’ll experience it.

Crave Culinaire Crave for a Cause Plated Dish“Every Crave for a Cause dinner gives our team the opportunity to use their imagination and give guests something they haven’t experienced before,” said Chef Brian Roland, owner and executive chef of Crave Culinaire. “We want people to be surprised by what arrives in front of them, to see some of the creativity happening in real time and to walk away talking about the food long after the evening is over. But what makes these dinners truly meaningful is being able to use that experience to bring people together around an organization doing extraordinary work in our community.”

For Palette of Possibilities, that organization is STARability Foundation, which creates opportunities for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities through vocational training, continuing education, life skills development, social engagement and community involvement.

Anchored by the Golisano Program Center, STARability’s new campus will expand innovative programs and opportunities that help individuals of all abilities build life skills, gain confidence, foster meaningful connections and prepare STARs for a future of intentional independent living, with the support they need to thrive.

The evening’s theme will extend beyond the plate. In addition to the four-course culinary journey, guests will enjoy a live performance by a STARability Music Academy participant and hear inspiring stories that showcase the talents, accomplishments and possibilities of the individuals STARability serves.

“Crave is a beautiful example of what happens when generosity, community and great food come together for a meaningful purpose,” said Carrie Cooney, a member of STARability’s Capital Campaign Cabinet and Board of Directors. “We are incredibly honored that Brian and Nicole Roland have chosen STARability as this event’s beneficiary. Their commitment to giving back to our community is inspiring, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to introduce Crave guests to the incredible talents, personalities and possibilities of our STARs. We hope guests enjoy an extraordinary evening while discovering the meaningful impact STARability has on the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families.”
