Southwest Florida Caterer, Crave Culinaire, Welcomes U.S. Army Veteran and Culinary Professional to the Team

By September 10, 2021 Press Releases

Bonita Springs, Florida, September 10th, 2021– Iconic Southwest Florida caterer, Crave Culinaire, announces that Mike Sulkey has joined the team as Catering Manager last month. Since 2013, Crave Culinaire, along with its collection of five-star culinary brands, including Virtual Venue SWFL, Crave Event Staffing, Crave2Go and Zest at Valencia Bonita have been wowing crowds, bringing back celebrations in a big way. Through immaculate culinary creations, expert event design and a top-level staff that goes above and beyond, Crave Culinaire creates moments to last a lifetime.

Sulkey comes to Crave Culinaire with over 35 years of Food and Beverage experience, which has taken him from hotels and cruise lines to night clubs, high-end restaurants and catering events. Although Sulkey has immense experience in the industry, his path is diverse. Serving his country in the United States Army, Sergeant Sulkey was a part of the Army’s Elite 82nd Airborne Division. Utilizing his experience in the Army, in addition to developing working relationships in the local area, Sulkey has made a name for himself in the industry. Working with Chef Brian Roland, Co-Owner of Crave Companies in the past, Sulkey has continued to develop his skills, working his way up from General Manager of Chops City Grill to Regional Sales & Catering Manager for Florida with Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. Calling Southwest Florida home for over 20 years, when he’s not planning the next signature event, Sulkey enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter at the beach or on the baseball diamond, where both siblings are All Star players.

Led by Chef Brian and Nicole Roland, Crave Culinaire (www.craveculinaire.com) seeks to break boundaries when it comes to presenting culinary masterpieces. Creating a story through food, the team inspires guests, leaving them with lasting memories. Partnering with sister company, Virtual Venue SWFL, Crave Culinaire expertly designs the ideal menu for any type of event from charity galas to intimate soirees, business meetings and more. And with the help of its partners, creating the perfect in-person, hybrid or virtual event is easy with Team Crave.

The Rolands speak about Sulkey and his addition to the team.

Mike [Sulkey] brings with him not only creativity and organization, but a passion for food and excellence that aligns perfectly with our team. He is dedicated to providing our guests with top-level service, adding a personalized flair to each and every event. We are looking forward to an outstanding future with him and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board,” they say.

Sulkey is also excited to be a part of the team.

I have watched Crave Companies expand and develop over the past years offering customized experiences to our community, and I am very grateful for this opportunity. I am excited for what the future holds as I grow with Team Crave,” he explains.
